No compensation: Baba Suwe lost to NDLEA in court

The ball has swung in favour of the guys from the government after a court of appeal in Lagos ordered the National Drug Law Enforcement Angency not to cover N25m compensation fee to comic Yoruba actor Babatunde Omidina, better called Baba Suwe.

The judgement was created May 31, 2013 ruling out an earlier judgement produced by the Ikeja High Court after it was established (with the aid of his counsel Bamidele Aturu), that the actor was detained more compared to required time following the agency accused him of allegedly swallowing ‘large levels of drugs’in his body.

Baba Suwe was arrested at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport, on his solution to Paris, France to wait a naming ceremony of an Air France staff scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2011.

Sources say, Aturu will appeal the ruling.
